We combine a strong interest in natural history with quantitative and genetic approaches to answer pressing questions in the science of biodiversity. We have a special fondness for birds, and especially their songs. We are located in the Department of Biology at Missouri State University.

Some projects in the lab take advantage of field work opportunities in the Ozarks, including at Missouri State University’s expansive Bull Shoals Field Station and at the beautiful Bull Mills property.
